If you don’t know how to ensure that your hands are properly CLEAN – please watch this short video now.
Personal cleanliness is the BEST WAY to prevent infections spreading from person to person and from person to objects – to others!
Hand washing is THE most important thing to learn in this regard.
Knowing this could SAVE YOUR LIFE!
You will need:
- Hot water
- Soap – a bar of (if scented buy some lavendar soap as it has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties) or liquid.
- A disposable paper towel – eg kitchen roll
Washing your hands should take at least ONE MINUTE when done properly. 🙂
I hope that this has informed and educated. If you get it in the wrong order, don’t worry – just make sure you thoroughly wash every part of your hands and wrists.
Then, be careful to NOT cross-contaminate afterwards!
So – do not touch your hands to your face, nose, ears and then onto surfaces. It IS hard – these are unconscious habits, but practice makes perfect.
If you are at home and highly unlikely to come into contact with other people – using a normal towel to dry your hands is fine – but wash it frequently.
HEAT KILLS VIRUSES – so wash things at 60 degrees; if you do feel unwell – induce the fever – wrap up, drink ginger tea, have a hot water bottle, stay hydrated.
Good luck,
Gayle Palmer
