It is Christmas Party season

It is easy to get swept up in the fun and not consider what or how much you are drinking.

I don’t want to be a party pooper - but please just consider the consequences on your OWN sovereign health and others around you if your actions cause distress, accidents or worse.

It can be easy to pre-plan how your evening may go in advance and help you manage you at the same time!

  1. Be aware of how to manage your drinking habits before you go out. Come up with a plan!

  2. This could be restricting how much money you take with you - or what cards, if any, you have available to use

  3. Make sure you have some water during the night

  4. Have one or two soft drinks instead of only alcoholic drinks, all night etc.

  5. Don’t drink and drive. EVER and NEVER drive in a car with someone else who has been drinking or taking drugs

    STAY SAFE

The impact on family, work colleagues, workers in the bars or shops, A & E staff, where you go either after a party or as a consequence of your actions can be totally devastating when things go wrong.

Please don’t become another statistic - you are worth more than that.
