What is your story?

Your Osteopath needs to know your story when you come in.

As your Osteopath I take time to listen to your story, as well as understand your symptoms and why they were caused.

The story behind your pain, discomfort and symptoms is important as it can give me clues as to what is going on.

How it all fits together may not make any sense to you – but that is why active listening is such an important skill for me to have.

Along with my detailed knowledge of the diagnostic sieve and how to extract meaning from what you tell me (and sometimes what you don’t tell me too!) I can formulate what has happened on a physical level, as well as an emotional and mental level.

Then I work out, with you, the best way back to feeling on top of the world. Formulating an action plan is my task.

Your working diagnosis is discussed with you but it is important to note that it may be modified or changed as more information comes to light. Often your mind does not remember everything, or tells me falsehoods – not on purpose but because it has interpreted things.

Your body does not do this…it works like a binary code – on or off! It doesn’t make stuff up. So as I begin to examine and treat you – new evidence can often come to light which may change what happens next. This is quite normal.

Are you ready to tell me your story and where you have got stuck?

If so – make an appointment today here.

Your health IS my priority – place your healing in my hands.
