Half term Osteo checkups for children

It’s half term!

The kids are tired, a bit cranky and struggling to maintain a good sleep pattern/ humour / behaviour. Am I right?!

It’s time for them to have an osteopathic service and “MOT”.

Everyone needs these, but esp children at this time of year when they are about to start on the Spring growth spurt and old compensations can no longer cope or keep up! The energies are being diverted elsewhere.

Most parents realise that term time is taxing for young, wiggly bodies and actively learning brains.

It is hardly surprising that kids behaviour can slip, or they complain of aches and pains etc.

DID YOU KNOW that OSTEOPATHY is a fabulous way to get them fine-tuned though?

Things to look out for that indicate that a consultation would be useful:

  • extra fidgety in class or at home

  • unwillingness to go to bed early – over tired

  • complaining of headaches or neck pain

  • tummy ache – upper or lower abdomen

  • argumentative

  • sports injury

  • poor posture

  • struggling to concentrate and more!
